I'm writing this as a warning to anyone considering buying prescription glasses online. My experience was a complete disaster. I thought I'd found a great deal, but what I received was unacceptable. As I stated in my online review: "I received my glasses and got a nice frame at a discount. However when I received them, one of the lenses pops out by itself when I go to clean it." CS Rep: I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue. Can I have your order number? Okay, I see it. The only option available is to start a return request and we can issue a full refund once we receive the item.
Customer: I don't want a refund, I want the glasses to work properly. They arrived broken. Can't you just send me a replacement pair or fix the lens? It's clearly a manufacturing defect.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration, but our policy requires you to return the item for a refund. We cannot offer a repair or an exchange for this situation.
Customer: So you sent me a faulty product, and your only solution is for me to have no glasses and go through a return process? A professional told me the lens was cut incorrectly by your optician. This is your fault.
CS Rep: I do apologize for the inconvenience, sir, but that is the only procedure I am authorized to follow.
