Let me share a truly terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a warning. My initial excitement turned to utter frustration when issues arose with my glasses, and getting any help felt impossible. This company is terrible to purchase from if you have any issues; they gladly take your money, but fixing problems seems impossible. The business feels fully automated. When you finally reach someone, they are often extremely rude and end calls abruptly, acting like they could care less. I feel completely scammed, with no way to get help or file a complaint. That feeling compelled me to try and engage customer service, desperate for a resolution.
Customer: My glasses arrived with the wrong prescription, and I’ve been trying to get this fixed for days. Every call feels like I’m talking to a wall, and the last representative just ended the call on me! CS Rep: I understand your frustration with the prescription issue and the previous call, and I sincerely apologize for that experience. Can you please provide your order number so I can look into this immediately? Customer: It's 123456. And I need to know why I'm being treated this way. I feel like I'm being scammed, there's just no way to get proper help here! CS Rep: I assure you that's not our intention. I see the prescription discrepancy here. I will initiate a re-order with the correct prescription at no additional cost and arrange for a return label for the incorrect pair. Customer: So I have to wait again? After all this? And what about the rude service? There's no one to complain to! CS Rep: I understand your concern about the delay and the service. I'm noting your feedback on the previous interaction, and I'm here to ensure this new order is expedited. We want to make sure you're satisfied.
